Everyone types from this list on their sheets. A price is optional — if it's here, the cost fills itself in.
Presets for the hauling list on every job sheet. Enter a price per ton and the sheet does the math when a line is billed by the ton. Leave it blank for materials hauled by the load — loads are priced per job, with the total cost entered on that job's sheet.
The tabs across the Jobs screen. "All" always lists every job and can't be moved, renamed or deleted. Drag a folder by its handle, or use the arrows, to reorder the rest. Tap a folder's lock to hide it from crew — they'll see it grayed out and can't open it (or see its jobs). Rename one and every job in it follows. Deleting a folder moves its jobs to the first folder in this list.
Upload your own invoice layout. The file must be a fillable PDF — one with real form fields (made in Acrobat, PDFescape, JotForm, or similar), not a plain PDF or scan. Once uploaded, map its fields to your job data below, then mark it as default — every invoice you print will fill and use that layout automatically. Individual line-item rows aren't supported yet; map one field to "All line items" if your PDF has a multi-line items box. Under each field you can also type default text — it prints whenever the job itself has nothing for that field.
Anything besides working a job — break, a meeting, shop cleanup, driving. These show up as quick options when someone clocks in.

Straight answers to the parts of the app that can be confusing. Tap a question to open it.
Found something that doesn’t work, or want a feature added? Send it over — we read everything.
The top bar is your map of the app:
Yes, you can keep working with no signal. Everything you type is saved on your device first, then sent to the cloud as soon as you’re connected.
Each person’s role shows as a tag next to their name in Settings → Access.
You can’t change your own role or delete yourself — ask another admin.
On the sign-in screen tap Forgot password? and enter the email. They get a link that opens a Set a new password screen.
Folders are the tabs across the top of the Jobs screen. All is always first and always shows every job; it can’t be renamed, moved or deleted.
It hides that folder from Crew. Office and admin always see everything.
To crew, a locked folder appears grayed out and can’t be opened, and its jobs are left out of All and search.
If two people start the same job (same job number and date), the app notices and asks whether to merge them into one. Say yes to combine their hours and lines; say no and it won’t ask again.
It turns on delete mode for that section so you can remove lines. Adding is always available — the gear is only for deleting.
When you type a number in a cost box and tap away, the app adds the dollar sign and two decimals for you, so 4334 becomes $4334.00. If you already typed the cents, nothing is added.
Each section header also shows that section’s dollar total — visible to office and admin only.
Tap Timecard in the top bar, then tap Clock In. The button turns red and says Clock Out, and a timer counts up next to it. You don’t have to pick a job first — you sort that out afterward.
Changing jobs partway through the day? Tap Clock Out, then Clock In again, or fix the split later in the day’s entry.
Every stretch of time needs a home: either a job or a category such as Break, Meetings or Travel. To categorize, tap a day in your week list, tap an entry, choose a job or category in the Categorize your time window, and tap Save.
A day shows Incomplete in red until every entry on it is categorized, then Complete in green.
Tap the day, tap the entry, change the start or stop time, and tap Save. Use Delete this entry to remove one, or + Add time entry if you forgot to clock in at all.
You can change your own entries until you submit the week. After that, ask the office or an admin.
At the bottom of the Timecard screen, tap Submit week for approval. You can’t submit while an entry is uncategorized or you’re still clocked in — the screen tells you what’s missing.
Office and admin can do everything a crew member can, plus:
Crew only ever see their own time and their own time off.
On the Timecard screen, scroll to the Time off card and tap Request time off. Pick the first and last day, choose Paid or Unpaid, add a note if you like, and tap Submit request. You can cancel a request while it’s still pending, and you’ll see a note when the office decides.
Paid days left is your paid-day allowance for the year (10 unless the office set something different) minus the paid days you’ve asked for this year. Pending and approved requests both count, and every calendar day in a request counts — weekends included. Unpaid days don’t use up paid days.
Office and admin only. It has five sections:
All in Settings → Rates & crew:
Yes — in Settings → Company → Invoice template.
The built-in invoice is always still available. Templates are visible to office and admin only.
Tap the person icon at the top right. Use your first and last name. Sign out is on the same screen.
Go to Settings → Backup. Download backup saves a file of every job and setting on this device; Restore from file loads one back. A monthly reminder can be turned on or off there.
Nothing on the books.
No time logged this day.
